The building currently serves as headquarters of the American Institute for Cancer Research. Designed by Stanford White in 1896, the building is an example of Georgian Revival and Colonial Revival architectural styles. The Thomas Nelson Page House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. It is designated as a contributing property to the Dupont Circle Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
