Description: Toledo Bend Reservoir, Texas, (Feb. 23, 2003) -- Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Arick Hiles, a naval reservist from Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit Two (MDSU-2), Cleveland Detachment, hands a compact sonar unit to Damage Controlman First Class Ralph Leete, also from MDSU-2. The sonar unit, an AN/PQS-2A, is a handheld sonar device used to aid in the search of the Toledo Bend Reservoir for debris from the Space Shuttle Columbia. Navy Divers, as well as divers from the Houston Police Department and the Environmental Protection Agency are tirelessly searching the murky waters of the reservoir for further debris of the shuttle Columbia.
