Description: Singapore (Jan. 29, 2007) – The Military Sealift Command (MSC) oceanographic survey ship USNS Mary Sears (T-AGS 65) shown moored in Singapore after a successful mission to search for and locate missing Adam Air Flight KI 574, which disappeared off the coast of West Sulawesi, Indonesia on January 1, 2007. During the mission a search team aboard Mary Sears located pingers from Flight KI 574 and mapped the aircraft’s debris field at a depth between 1500 and 1900 meters.
