Description: Whistle Brook north of Ivinghoe This brook cuts across farmland north of Ivinghoe a little to the east of Great Gap where it has powered the waterwheel at Ford End Mill http://www.fordendwatermill.co.uk The footpath up to this point was incredibly muddy (see318164), much of it with deep dirty puddles. A weir pretty much at the focal point of this scene has the effect of damming the stream such that it forms a little pool. See also 317466
