The author of Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson), was born in the parsonage at Daresbury where his father was vicar. He lived there from 1832 to 1843. This window commemorates his life, and in the lower panes are scenes from Alice in Wonderland, based on the original drawings by Tenniel. See also 284592
