Description: Arlington National Cemetery engineering technician Randy Barton lights the torch that will transfer the eternal flame at the John F. Kennedy grave site in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington County, Virginia, in the United States on April 29, 2013. The eternal flame at the grave site was extinguished and a temporary flame erected to one side of the grave area so that repairs and upgrades could be made to the permanent flame. Workers erected plain white temporary barriers around the eternal flame (but not the graves) to preserve the dignity of the site while work on the eternal flame occurred.
