Description: Working-class political protest in the northern suburb of Halandri in Athens, Greece organized by a political activists' group calling itself "Open Assembly of Agia Paraskevi" (Ag. Paraskevi is a nearby northern suburb of Athens), calling for the boycott of a local bookshop, named Evripidis, allegedly because it fired a female employee identified as "R." in the activists' flyers, presumably because of her anti-capitalist political activism (according to the activists). The protestors had a banner which read "Down with the bosses' terrorism, solidarity is our weapon! Open Assembly of the Residents of Agia Paraskevi." 17 September 2013, in Halandri, Athens, Greece. Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens on a full-frame Canon EOS 5D camera. Exposure: 1/125 f/3.2 ISO-1600 RAW post-processed, HDR (High Dynamic Range processing), brightened and contrast-enhanced black-and-white. The HDR processing was done with one original photo which was edited to three brightness levels and then combined into one new photo. Original and color versions are available too.
