Kim Rees is an American computer scientist who works with data visualization. She lives in the Washington DC area. Currently, she leads the user experience (UX) team for Google Cloud Data & Analytics. Before joining Google, Kim Rees helped start a company called Periscopic. She worked there for 13 years. She is well-known for her work on a Periscopic project that showed information about the impact of violence.
