Masatomo Kuba (久場 政朋, Kuba Masatomo, born November 21, 1984) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a Midfielder during his career.

Playing Career
Starting Out in Football
Masatomo Kuba was born in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, on November 21, 1984. He loved football from a young age. After finishing high school, he joined a professional football club called Tokyo Verdy in 2003.
Time with Tokyo Verdy
Masatomo Kuba made his first appearance for Tokyo Verdy in 2005. It was tough for him to get a lot of playing time in matches during that year. At the end of the 2005 season, his club, Tokyo Verdy, moved down to a lower league called the J2 League.
In 2006, Masatomo Kuba had more chances to play for Tokyo Verdy. He played in 22 matches and scored 1 goal that season. Even though he was getting more opportunities, he decided to leave the club and retire from playing professional football at the end of 2006. Overall, he played 26 league games and scored 1 goal during his career.
Playing for Japan's National Team
Masatomo Kuba also had the chance to represent his country. In September 2001, when he was younger, he was chosen to play for the Japan U-17 national team. He played in two matches during the 2001 FIFA U-17 World Championship, which is a big international tournament for young players.
