The Millennium University (also known as TMU) is a private university located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was started in 2003 by the Khan Foundation. This foundation is a group that helps people and works with the United Nations to support important projects. The university is named after Abdul Momen Khan, who was a former Minister of Food in Bangladesh. TMU is officially recognized by the Government of Bangladesh and overseen by the University Grants Commission Bangladesh.
TMU's main campus is in Momenbagh, Dhaka. It is one of the few private universities in Bangladesh that owns its campus. This helps to lower the cost of education for students because the university does not have to pay rent.
To join TMU, students need to pass admission tests. These tests help the university choose students based on their school grades, talents, and potential. The university follows guidelines set by the University Grants Commission for admissions.
