Norbert Zerbs, known as Niclas Castello, is a German artist. He was born in 1978 in Neuhaus am Rennweg, Germany. He is famous for his modern art, especially his sculptures.

Niclas Castello's Artistic Journey
Niclas Castello grew up in Neuhaus am Rennweg, which was in East Germany. He later moved to Montmartre, Paris, a famous art area. In 2003, he returned to Germany and studied art. He left university after two years to follow his own path.
Moving to New York City
Castello then moved to New York City. There, he received support from Arleen Schloss, an artist. He stayed at her New York loft for about two years. From 2008 to 2015, he traveled a lot. He worked with art galleries in Europe and the United States.
Artistic Influences and Works
Castello has said that the artist Invader influenced his work. Invader is known for his pixel art mosaics. Niclas Castello creates different types of art. One of his well-known series is called The Kiss sculptures. He also makes artwork that shows fire extinguishers. One of his pieces is displayed in The One. This is a large private home in Bel Air, Los Angeles.

Niclas Castello married Sylvie Meis on September 19, 2020. Sylvie Meis is a well-known TV personality from the Netherlands. Their wedding took place in Florence, Italy. They separated in June 2023.
