Sieyic, also known as Sieyik, is an important town in Panama. It serves as the capital of the Naso Tjër Di comarca. A comarca is a special area in Panama that is set aside for indigenous (native) people. It helps them keep their traditions and way of life.
Sieyic was officially created on December 4, 2020. Before this, it was part of the Changuinola District. The town is located right on the banks of the Teribe River, which is an important waterway in the region.
