Tetsuya Ogura started his football journey in Japan. He attended Fujisawa Nishi High School, where he played football from 1986 to 1988. After high school, he continued his studies and played football at Waseda University from 1989 to 1992.
Playing for Professional Teams
In 1993, after finishing university, Tetsuya Ogura joined a professional football team called Gamba Osaka. This team plays in Japan's top football league. He played as a side back, which is a type of defender who also helps with attacking.
