Bulgars facts for kids
The Bulgars (also Bulgarians, Bolgars, Vulgars, Borgars, Wolochi, Hons) were Bulgaric semi-nomadic tribes that once populated Eurasia. The most famous Bulgaric tribe is the Dulo tribe which used the iYi tamga. This tribe ruled the Burjan Empire (First Bulgar State), the Hunnic Empire, the Xiongnu Empire, the Chagatai Khanate, the Tughluq dynasty of India, the Ottoman Empire. Other famous Bulgar branches are the later Mongols, Turks, Thracians, Huns, Mughals, Timurids, Oghuzes, Oghurs, Hungarians, Tatars, Aryans and others.
