Él is the very first album by the Mexican pop singer and actress Lucerito. It came out in 1982 when she was just 13 years old. People in Mexico really loved it! This album is also known by another name, Te Prometo. A producer named Sergio Andrade helped create it.

The Story Behind Él

Lucerito became famous thanks to Sergio Andrade. He was a producer and talent scout. When she auditioned, he saw her amazing talent. He knew she had the charisma to become a big international star.

In 1982, Sergio Andrade wrote the song "Juguemos a Cantar". He recorded it with Lucerito for his own record company. This company was called Discos Arpegios. He also helped with the music and production.

Later that year, Sergio Andrade sold Lucerito's recording contract. He continued to be her composer, producer, and manager. The company Discos Musart then started to fund and release her albums.

When the album first came out, it was named "Te Prometo". But after a movie with the same name was released, the record company changed the album's title. They reissued it as "Él".
