What Does Desert Sand-Verbena Look Like?
The desert sand-verbena is a small, fuzzy plant that grows low to the ground. It has oval-shaped, dull green leaves. Many stems hold round bunches of bright magenta or purplish-pink flowers.
This plant loves to grow in the sand of deserts and coastlines. It has a very sweet smell and feels quite sticky to the touch. You can usually see these flowers blooming between February and May.
