Alberto Joshimar Acosta Alvarado (born on February 26, 1988) is a Mexican professional footballer. He plays as a left-back, which is a defensive position on the field.
Club Career
Alberto Acosta started his football journey playing for a team called Fútbol Soccer Manzanillo. This was in the Segunda División de México, which is a professional football league in Mexico.
He made his first appearance with the main team, Tigres UANL, in a tournament called Apertura 2010. On October 20, 2012, Acosta scored three goals in one game! This special achievement is known as a hat-trick in football. His team, Tigres, won that game 5–0 against Pumas UNAM.
After playing for other teams on loan (meaning he played for them temporarily), Acosta returned to play for Tigres for the Apertura 2016 tournament. Later, he also played for FC Juárez.
