About Anna Miller's
Anna Miller's is a restaurant that serves classic American dishes. It became very popular, especially in Japan. People enjoyed its friendly atmosphere and tasty food.
Where It All Started
The very first Anna Miller's restaurant opened in Hawaii in 1973. After that, the chain grew quite a bit, mostly in Japan. Many new restaurants opened there over the years.
Famous Uniforms
One special thing about Anna Miller's, especially in Japan, was the uniforms worn by the waitresses. These uniforms were very recognizable. They included a white top and a bright orange or pink dress. The dress had a short skirt and a special design around the chest area. A matching apron and a heart-shaped name tag completed the look.
Changes Over Time
In June 2022, the company that owned Anna Miller's, called Imuraya, made an announcement. They said that the last Anna Miller's restaurant in Japan would close. This restaurant was in Takanawa and had been open since 1983. It closed its doors on August 31, 2022. Because of this closure, the Anna Miller's restaurant in Hawaii is now the only one left in the world.
