Bishara Morad, known simply as Bishara, is a singer from Syria who now lives in Sweden. He was born on January 23, 2003. In 2019, he took part in a big music competition called Melodifestivalen 2019 with his song "On My Own".

His Early Life
Bishara Morad was born in Damascus, a city in Syria. When he was six years old, his family moved to Linköping, a city in Sweden.
How He Started Singing
In 2018, Bishara's music teacher asked him to sing in the school cafeteria. Bishara did not know he was such a good singer! He decided to share a video of his performance online. He put it on YouTube and Instagram.
Soon after, a famous singer and music manager named Laila Bagge discovered him. She helped him start his music career.
His Music Career
On January 30, 2019, Bishara released his very first song. It was called "Home."
Just a month later, in February 2019, he joined Melodifestivalen 2019. This is a big music contest in Sweden. He sang his song "On My Own" in the fourth round. He did so well that he made it to the final competition!
His Beliefs
Bishara is a Christian. He belongs to the Syriac Orthodox Church. He has said that his singing talent is a gift. He also helps out at St. Markus Syriac Orthodox church in Linköping. He is a sub-deacon for their youth group.
