The Canberra Country Blues & Roots Festival is an exciting event held every year in Canberra, Australia. It was first known as the Canberra Country Music Festival. This festival takes place for three days in November. It focuses on all kinds of country music, dancing, and fun workshops. Over the years, the festival has been held in different places around Canberra. These locations include Tuggeranong Homestead, Exhibition Park in Canberra, and the Hall Showgrounds. The festival took a break in 2020 but has been happening again since 2021.

Festival Fun and Awards

This festival is well-known for helping Australian Indigenous country music performers. It gives them a chance to share their music with people from all over Australia and even other countries.

The festival is also home to several exciting competitions and awards. These include the Canberra Country Music Awards and the Canberra Country Songwriting Awards. There's also a "Country's Got Talent" competition where new performers can show off their skills.

One very special event is the Canberra Ute Car + Truck Muster. This part of the festival has featured some really cool vehicles. For example, it has shown the Arctic Explorer Hi Lux vehicles from the TV show Top Gear. It was also the first event in Australia to give awards for electric and hybrid utes and trucks.
