Cliff's Amusement Park is a super fun place in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States! It's both an amusement park and a water park, so you get the best of both worlds. This park first opened its doors in 1959.
Today, Cliff's has 24 exciting rides for all ages. You can also find yummy food and cool carnival-style games there. During the warmer months, you can splash around at WaterMania! This water attraction is open from late May through early September. Don't miss the New Mexico Rattler, a special wooden roller coaster. It's the only one of its kind in New Mexico!

How the Park Started
Cliff and Zella Hammond built a small park in 1959. They called it Uncle Cliff's Kiddieland. It was first located on Lomas Boulevard. After a few years, they had to move the park. They briefly moved to Tijeras Canyon, just outside Albuquerque.
In 1963, Cliff's Amusement Park moved to its current spot. This location was on the edge of Albuquerque back then. As the park grew and added bigger rides, they changed the name. They dropped "Kiddieland" to become Cliff's Amusement Park. This showed that the park was for everyone, not just little kids.
