Concarán is an important city in central Argentina. It is the main city of the Chacabuco Department or County, located in the San Luis Province. The city was founded a long time ago, on June 25, 1858.
Concarán is located about 663 meters (2,175 feet) above sea level. It is led by an "Intendent," which is like a mayor who helps run the city. The current Intendent is Nestor Daniel Elías.

Education in Concarán
