Constantin Chiriță (born March 12, 1925 – died November 14, 1991) was a famous Romanian writer. He is best known for his exciting adventure stories written especially for young people. His books are still very popular in Romania today.

He was born in 1925 in a place called Ibănești, in Vaslui County, Romania. He went to high school at the Gheorghe Roșca Codreanu High School in Bârlad. Later, he finished his high school studies in the big city of Bucharest.

Constantin Chiriță also started studying at the Politehnica University of Bucharest. However, he decided not to finish his university degree. Instead, he began working for a newspaper called Scînteia.

Constantin Chiriță wrote many stories that young readers love. His most famous work is a series of five books called Cireșarii. These books were first published in 1956.
