Endeavor, Pennsylvania facts for kids
Endeavor is a small community located in Hickory Township, Forest County, Pennsylvania. It sits right next to the beautiful Allegheny National Forest and can be found along Pennsylvania Route 666.
History of Endeavor
How Endeavor Got Its Name
The community of Endeavor was named after a group called the Christian Endeavor Society. These were some of the first people to settle and build the town.
Before it was known as Endeavor, the area had a different name. It was called Stowtown. The name changed as the Christian Endeavor Society played a big role in shaping the community.
