Plot

This story is about two friendly dogs named Nap and Winkle. One day, they find a single bone. A big problem quickly comes up: they both want the bone! They can't decide who it belongs to.

To solve their problem, Nap and Winkle decide to ask for help. They go around and ask different people and animals. They ask a farmer, a goat, and even a haircutter. Each one gives them a different idea.

While they are trying to figure things out, a much bigger dog comes along. This large dog quickly takes the bone away from both Nap and Winkle. Now, they have a new, shared problem! They must work together to get their bone back.

After a bit of teamwork, they manage to get the bone from the big dog. This adventure helps them learn an important lesson. They realize that the bone doesn't belong to just one of them. It belongs to both of them, because they found it together.
