Finley Point is a small community located in Lake County, Montana, United States. It is called a "census-designated place" (CDP). This means it's an area that the government identifies for gathering statistics, but it doesn't have its own official city or town government. In the Salish language, Finley Point is known as sčc̓méple.
In 2010, about 480 people lived in Finley Point. By 2020, the population had grown to 532 people.

Geography of Finley Point
Finley Point is in the northern part of Lake County. It sits on a piece of land that sticks out into Flathead Lake. This land is also called Finley Point. It separates two bays: Skidoo Bay to the north and East Bay to the south.
Location and Nearby Areas
The community is located at coordinates 47.750877 degrees north and -114.074974 degrees west. Montana Highway 35 runs along the eastern side of Finley Point. This highway follows the eastern shore of Flathead Lake.
If you travel north on Highway 35, you will reach Bigfork about 25 miles away. If you go southwest for about 8 miles, you will arrive in Polson. Polson is the main town and the county seat for Lake County.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Finley Point covers a total area of about 29.5 square kilometers (11.4 square miles). Most of this area is water. About 11.1 square kilometers (4.3 square miles) is land. The remaining 18.5 square kilometers (7.1 square miles), which is about 62.56% of the total area, is water.
Near Finley Point, there is a place known as nccm̓esšn. This name means "place with small rocks."
