Early Ownership Changes

GameRevolution at E3
The team from GameRevolution often attends E3, which is a huge video game event. They even act as judges there every year. Duke Ferris, the founder, was a judge at the 2010 E3 show.
A very important year for GameRevolution at E3 was in 2000. That year, they invited Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik from Penny Arcade to come along. GameRevolution also gave the game Black & White their "Best of E3" award.
Becoming Part of Mandatory
Later, Bolt Media, Inc. faced some problems. Even so, GameRevolution was still very popular. Hundreds of thousands of people visited the site.
Because of this, another company called CraveOnline bought GameRevolution. CraveOnline is part of a larger company called Atomic Online. This purchase was announced on February 25, 2008. GameRevolution became part of the CraveOnline community. It still remained a popular website on its own. In March 2018, CraveOnline changed its name to Mandatory.
