Description: These stylish looking Class 124 DMUs with wrapped round windows were built in the early 1960s by British Rail Swindon Works. Originally 6-car sets complete with buffet cars, these were utilised regularly on the Trans-Pennine routes. Based at the now closed Botanic Gardens depot in Hull. Seen here at Hull Paragon is one such example on 4 September 1983.
