Description: Lobster pot helmet from the period of the British civil wars in the 17th century. Although it was worn by a Scottish Covenanter, the design is German, suggesting that the wearer acquired it during the religious wars in Germany. An exhibit in the Huntly House Museum, Edinburgh.
