Description: 1972 AMC Gremlin built as Randall 401-XR modification with 6.6 L V8 engine. The Randall AMC dealership in Mesa, Arizona, had American Motors' endorsement to replace 304 V8 (5.0 L) powered Gremlins with a 401 engine during 1972, 1973, and 1974. They were designed for maximum performance and also made for customer-specific customizing. Photograph taken at the American Motors Owners Association (AMO) car show that was part of the annual convention held July 2015 near Cleveland, Ohio.
