Description: This model Laser was another big seller for Ford in Australia, but by this time, the Laser had grown in size, mainly to meet the US market requirements, where it would be sold as the Ford Escort and Mercury Tracer and sales would now start to decline. By the time this series model Laser was at the end of it's life, Ford Australia would decide to stop building the Laser in Australia and instead import them from Japan. Again, these were based on the Mazda 323 of the same era and with this model, the Laser TX3 4WD, sat at the top of the Laser lineup.
