Description: Interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS (formerly A11pl3Z) moving across a field of stars, as seen by the 8.2-meter Very Large Telescope (UT1) at Cerro Paranal. Images were taken with the FORS2 camera on the night of 2025 July 4, from 06:50 to 07:01 UTC. The comet is the bright, white moving fuzzy object near the center of the image. Images are immediately public domain and were taken from observing program 115.29F2.001, titled "A11pl3Z, the 3rd interstellar object"
