Description: 78 Derngate, Northampton was an ordinary early 19th Century terraced house. Its claim to fame starts when in 1916 Wenman Joseph Bassett-Lowke asked Charles Rennie Mackintosh to re-design the house. The house is now part of a museum incorporating no 80 and 82 Derngate.
