Description: The 80 Green Pea galaxy reference numbers were taken from a list in the original study "Galaxy Zoo Green Peas: Discovery of A Class of Compact Extremely Star-Forming Galaxies" (Cardamone et al. 2009). The images are from the SDSS DR7 Explorer pages (typical link below) and have not been sized or re-shaped, although not all of them are in the order within the 2009 study. The galaxies were imaged originally by SDSS in approximately 2000 to 2004. They are detailed in the Wikipedia article 'Pea galaxy'.
