Description: One of the early fittings of ASV Mk. III to an operational aircraft, in this case Wellington XII MP512. It is shown on the ground at Brooklands, where it was fit with the radar. MP512 first served operationally with No. 172 Squadron RAF, and later with No. 3 and 6 operational training units. The radar scanner is fit into the teardrop fairing under the nose. The censor has colored over the background.
