Description: Acisoma panorpoides, the Grizzled Pintail or Trumpet Tail, is a species of dragonfly in family Libellulidae. It is small blue dragonfly with bulged abdomen, closely associated with water, commonly found among reeds in ponds and tanks. The male adult has blue marking but the female has yellow marking. The species has a very weak and short flight. Breeds in marshes associated with tanks and ponds.
