Description: : Plaque commemorating Canada's first telephone company office, a forerunner to the Bell Telephone Company of Canada, established in Brantford, Ontario, 1877. The white clapboard Henderson Home, which was Rev. Henderson's private home and which also became the telephone company office, is seen in the background. It was later moved from downtown Brantford to the site of the Bell Homestead museum in the Tuttelo Heights suburb of Brantford, and was converted into a telephone museum.
