Description: Native, spreading, annual herb with ascending stems to 30 cm long that root at the nodes. Stems have hairy nodes, becoming hairless with age. Leaves are linear-lanceolate, 2–8 cm long and to 6 mm wide; margins are finely toothed. Flowerheads are white and ball-like, often forming dense clusters 1–2.5 cm wide.
