Description: Logo adopted by the five-county Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BARTD) in 1958. The five counties were San Francisco, Alameda, Santa Clara, San Mateo, and Marin. San Mateo and Marin would pull out in 1962/63. SVG traced from raster; typeface used in grey ring is a close analog (Microgramma extended bold) but not a precise match to original.
