Description: The Verizon Building, also known as the Barclay-Vesey Building, is located at 140 West Street between Barclay and Vesey Streets with a facing on Washington Street in the TriBeCa neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. It was built 1923-27 and was designed by Ralph Walker of McKenzie, Voorhees & Gmelin in the Art Deco style. It stood across the street from the World Trade Center, and was damaged in the 9-11 attack.
