Description: U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Under Secretary for Rural Development Dr. Basil Gooden and U.S. Congressman for North Carolina’s 11th District the Honorable Chuck Edwards participated in a groundbreaking ceremony hosted by Housing Assistance Corporation of Westen North Carolina on October 29, 2024. USDA invested $150 thousand through a USDA Mutual Self-Help Housing Technical Assistance Grant to assist the Housing Assistance Corporation complete four houses currently under construction and build an additional four houses.
