Description: Cornwall - Waterloo express coming under the Battledown Flyover. View westward, towards Salisbury, Exeter etc., with the main lines from Southampton etc. on the flyover (Up) and in the foreground (Down): ex-LSW main lines from Waterloo via Basingstoke. The 08.10 from Wadebridge/09.00 from Bude to Waterloo was a dated Saturday Relief which ran for only eight Saturdays in July and August. Here it is coming up from Salisbury behind BR Standard 5MT 4-6-0 No. 73113 'Lyonesse', one of those which supplanted SR 'King Arthur' 4-6-0s and took their names: it was built 10/55, named 12/59, withdrawn 1/67, working throughout on the SR.
