Description: The North Atlantic right whale bones found at Bay Wharf in Greenwich (North Atlantic right whale). It exhibits signs of advanced ankylosis that were either due to old age or injuries and cut marks from the time of its death. As yet undated, the whale is believed to have been killed by peasants after it beached itself (unproven hypothesys).
