Description: Westminster University; Pillar of Fire Church; Belleview College was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. The Richardson Romanesque building of Westminster University is located at 84th Avenue between Lowell Boulevard and Federal Boulevard. When it was completed in 1908, the area was known as Crown Point. The building was considered the most beautiful architectural design of the time. In the first year, 60 students attended classes. Financial difficulties, only a few years later, caused the college to close. The building was vacant for several years. The Pillar of Fire church purchased the University buildings and 40 acres in January 1920.
