Description: The wooden barrier at the end of the Berkeley Pier. Graffiti is prevalent here likely due to its distance from the shoreline which provides cover for vandalism. Visible through the barrier is the decaying abandoned portion of the old pier that extends 4 km into San Francisco Bay. Photo on November 2007.
