The tower is 12.6 m (41.25 ft) tall and was built in 1876. The flat roofed dwelling is very unusual on Prince Edward Island. It has one of the most spacious dwellings of all of the Island Lighthouses. A red metal service ladder leads from the flat roof of the dwelling to the lantern deck. The ground floor has a kitchen, parlour, and two bedrooms. The second floor has four bedrooms and a smaller room used as a bathroom. Light: occulting white Focal Height: 18.3 m (60 ft) Flash Pattern: flash 3 sec. Eclipse 1 sec.
