Description: Brethren Meeting Room, 141 London Road, Waterlooville, Hampshire, England. A meeting room of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church with a complex history. Until 1972, Plymouth Brethren in the Portsmouth area used a meeting room at the corner of Clive Road and Guildford Road in Fratton as their main centre of worship ("city room"), with various smaller meeting rooms ("local rooms") in surrounding places. The Clive Road building was sold for redevelopment in 1972 and these new premises were registered with the name Clive Trust Meeting Room in August of that year. However, with continued growth locally, a new and even larger meeting room was built in Horndean and registered as Waterlooville Trust Meeting Room in November 1993, replacing this building. It passed into commercial use (by 2009, it was "HCG Property Services Ltd" as per Google StreetView), but was then reopened again as a "local room" and re-registered accordingly in January 2010.
