Description: Detail of the inscription on the Butt-Millet Memorial Fountain near The Ellipse (the southern portion of the President's Park) in Washington, D.C., in the United States. This memorial fountain was erected in October 1912 in memory of Major Archibald Butt (military aide to President William Howard Taft) and Francis Davis Millet (painter). Both men died during the sinking of the RMS Titanic in April 1912.
