Description: The United States Post Office, Courthouse and Federal Building — in downtown Sacramento, California. The 'Federal Building' was designed by architects Starks & Flanders, in a simplifiied French Renaissance Revival style, and was completed in 1933. The 'U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California' met here until the creation of the Eastern District (court) in 1966, which it then began housing. The 'Federal Building' is still in use by the 'U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California'. The Sacramento 'U.S. Post Office, Courthouse and Federal Building' is on the National Register of Historic Places (1938 photo).
