Description: Worsley New Hall, in Worsley near Manchester. Built in 1846 by Edward Blore for Francis Egerton, 1st Earl of Ellesmere, on the site of a previous building later called Worsley Brick Hall. The hall was badly damaged by fire in 1943 and demolished in 1949.
